Lawrence Moore, C.E.O.

I'm Lawrence Moore, the founder and C.E.O. of the Buckeye Barrier Busters organization and a strong advocate of disability rights and accessibility issues relevant to the NW Ohio community. I oversee general operations, update this website and publish my Blog, "From Where I Sit" on various disability issues and products. I also maintain networking relationships with other vital area organizations such as the Ability Center of Toledo and the United Way.

Lydia Moore, B.S., M.A. - Media Relations

I'm Lydia Moore, director of Caregiver Support and Media Relations for the organization. I have a Masters Degree from Bowling Green State University and a strong background in journalism. I have extensive experience in being a caregiver, both on a personal as well as professional level. You can find a link to my Blog, "Caregiver's Corner" on our main page. OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The Buckeye Barrier Busters is an organization dedicated to fostering an awareness of disability and access issues for citizens of the NW Ohio area.

Membership is free and open to anyone who seeks to identify and eliminate the barriers to access which ultimately affect all of us, regardless of our current mobility status. We offer networking, information and community support through our page on Facebook, the Buckeye Barrier Busters page. We hope you will join us. The sign up form is to the right.
